Emails Setup Using POP3 mail client

Accessing your email accounts using a POP3 mail client (Outlook / Outlook Express) is as follows:

Firsts step:

Go to Tools > Email Accounts

If this is your first time to setup the email account then select option 1 "Add a new e-mail account".  If you have an existing email account and would like to change the setting in it (e.g. transfer to other hosting but using same email accounts) then choose the option 2 "View or change existing e-mail accounts.

Key in your email information using the below as a reference.  Then once done proceed with clicking the "More Settings..." button.

Sixth step:

Server port numbers for
Incoming server (POP3): 110
Outgoing server (SMTP): 26

Do remember to tick on the "Remove from server after (10) days".  This will enable the expired emails to be deleted from the mail server,preventing email overload and subsequently not being able to receive any emails.  However, your emails that have been downloaded to your Outlook will still be retained in your PC.

Sixth Step

Congratulations!! You have completed your Outlook email setup up.

Changing Your Email Password

Changing your email password can be as easy as 1,2...3.  By default, upon creation of your company's e-mail, our administrator will assign a temporary password to you.  We strongly encourage that you change your password as soon as possible for security purposes. In order to have your password changed, all you need to do is to follow these 3 simple steps.

Step 1

Type the webmail url at http://www.yourcompanydomain.com/webmail (please remember to type your company domain instead of "yourcompanydomain") e.g. http://www.desit.com.my/webmail

Key in your webmail url

Once you entered your webmail url a pop-up dialog box as follow will appear.

Key in username and password

Please type your user name correctly at the username box.  If your email account is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it then you have to type bill.low+desit.com.my as your username and please remember to replace the @ with +.  Your user name is keyed in followed by the password.Use the default password from the administrator if this is your first time changing the password.The default password can be found in the email by the administrator who have created your email account.

Step 2

After step 1, you will be directed to the following web page where there are many buttons for your selection.  Select the Change Password icon by clicking on it.

Step 3

The final step is to key in your new password and make sure that you remember it well.  Your new password will take effect after you click on the Change Password button.

Using Webmail To Access Your Emails

You can access your emails any where around the globe as long as you can have access to the internet.  You can use just any browser to have access to your email accounts.

Step 1

Please make sure you type your webmail url correctly.  Type the webmail url at http://www.yourcompanydomain.com:2095 (please remember to type your company domain instead of "yourcompanydomain") e.g. http://www.desit.com.my:2095

Once you entered your webmail url the following webpage will appear.

Please type your user name correctly at the username box.  If your email account is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Step 3

Now you can have a choice to use any 3 of our webmail system.  Namely Horde, Squirrel Mail and Round Cube. In this example we will select Horde as our webmail system.  Click on the Horde icon and then follow by the next step.

Select your language preference and then click Log In.  Now you can read and send your email anywhere, anytime.
